That has been the plan. I have a 2 1/2 hour seminar on Cruising the Northern Channel Islands that I have been doing for about the last 5 years, and that material is a good platform to build the anchoring material on.

If you are going to include Santa Barbara, why not include a few other of the Channel Islands at some point?

By the way, this is from Eric Gritz, if you can't tell from the user name. Maybe i should change it.

David, thank for mentioning this. I was actually going to add Santa Barbara Island to the book at the end of this quarter!

This is a bit that popped up after Marc released his much esteemed "Anchoring at Catalina." I tried to think of an equivalent challenge which would pale in comparison to Marc's accomplishment, as my experience pales to Marc's. Why not Anchoring at Santa Barbara? One anchorage. several options. Not beyond our collective ability to write.

Second, this could record valuable data about another commonly used anchorage. Useful.

Third, it's a tribute to Marc. I have been to some of those Cat anchorages over the years. A few nights are burned into my memory. How Marc's book would have helped me. So this is a way we can compliment Marc's work by continuing it..
