UPCOMING NORTHERN CHANNEL ISLANDS CRUISE Sept. 26-30, 2012 We need just 2 more crew to make the Northern Channel Islands trip through OCC a "Go"!!! Dates are Wednesday September 26 through Sunday September 30, 2012. I plan to make San Miguel Island the first stop with a hike along that marvelous white sand beach and up to the Ranger Station, and then visit the Painted Cave on Santa Cruz Island and anchor someplace good like Pelican, head down to Santa Barbara Island, then back to Newport Beach. This is one of the best trips in So Cal and this is the best time of year for it. Novice level sailors are welcome. See the pictures and YouTube links in this section for more. Interested people will need to register with OCC, 949-645-9412, but you should call me or email me at the contact info below so I can tell you about the trip and answer questions. Thanks in advance for any assistance with getting the word out. Best regards, Marc Hughston Mobile: 949-939-8123 Email: HughstonMarc@gmail.com www.AnchoringAtCatalina.com www.SantanaSailing.com |
