Contributors suggest the following: 1. Put out two bow anchors...one at a short scope to create drag on the ocean bottom. This may have negative impact on the sea life below...perhaps just put a second anchor out in a bahamian set up? 2. Set up a Bridle from the stern to the bow rode. I have used this effectively to modify the angle of the boat perhaps into a changing swell direction ... but have never tried it to limit sailing at anchor. 3. Put the Wheel/Tiller to one side and lock it down. I tried this on a beneatau in the BVI with little success. 4. Hoist an anchor riding sail off the back stay. Maybe we could modify an old capri sail?
