Greetings folks, my friend and Club Nautique Master Instructore has a couple of crew opportunities available with him. If you're looking for some coastal passage experience or experience with larger vessels this would be a great opportunity. Arnstein is Club Nautique's top instructor and I guarantee a wealth of training opportunities on these trips. Crew Needed for Seattle & La Paz Passages Posted by: "Arnstein Mustad" amustad@yahoo.com amustad Thu Oct 19, 2006 6:48 am (PST) SF to Seattle Tayana 52, total of 3 crew Shoving off on or about Nov. 1st (one position open), Passage length about 6-7 days 1) Crew will be expected to bring personal gear (as per skipper's recommendations) 2) Skipper pays airfare & ground travel 3) Skipper pays for on-board provisioning 5) Shore side meals at crew's expense 6) WX and mechanical delays are always an uncertainty, please to not assume best case scenario La Paz, Mex to San Francisco (stand-by crew positions open) Tayana 48, total of 3 crew Depart end of November Passage length about 16 days 1) Crew will be expected to bring personal gear (as per skipper's recommendations) 2) Skipper pays airfare to La Paz & ground transpo 3) Skipper pays for on-board provisioning 5) Shore side meals at crew's expense 6) WX and mechanical delays are always an uncertainty, please to not assume best case scenario * Please DO NOT underestimate sea sickness. Which are you? * All vessel's I submit for crew availability are or will be properly outfitted for ocean passages. * I am a licensed and experienced skipper and would be happy to provide my sailing resume and references to you upon request. Insurance is provided by the owner's policy, which allows for professional skipper delivery. Arnstein Mustad amustad@yahoo.com |

Women Racers; Campbell's Sloop will be participating in the Thirsty Thursday races. We meet on the Sloop at 5:15 and leave the slip at 5:30. This is a great opportunity for you to practice those sailing skills you've been learning in class. If interested, e-mail me at sailorsusie@cox.net and I'll put you on the list. Manana is a Catalina 36 skippered by Carol and Dixe. They will also be participating in this race and would be happy have you along. Let's fill up both these boats this summmr and have some fun on the water! |

I'll let you know just how much you suck, after our Feb. trip...how's that? If you suck too much we'll just keep working hard, until you don't suck. Can you cook and clean? |

Saddleback MST Sailors! I'll be doing the Ensenada race again this year on my Catalina 34 and then plan to take my time coming home. This is my plan. I'll stay in Ensenada with the girls on my team Sat.and Sun. night. On Monday I'm hoping to get a slip at the Hotel Coral (that's in Ensenada but different marina). Tuesday, I'd like to sail to San Diego and spend at least 2 days there, exploring the area and then sail home on Friday or Sat. Don (my husband) can bring you down to Ensenada Sat. morning with him. If interested, send me an e-mail. sailorsusie@cox.net |

Hi there all, I'm a former Saddleback MST student looking to expand my experience sailing the open waters. Allow me to contribute what I know, keep watch, navigate, photograph/video, et cetera ad nauseum;) I live in Big Bear right now, but I can make it to Dana Point anytime. Best regards, Evan |
