The permits given out by Pacific Sailing allow you to park on the street outside the parking lot - where the camera icons are on the Google photo.

You have 15 minutes in the parking lot next to the marina to drop off gear before you start paying for the privilege....

OK, fair enough, we have Lab 17-18, should be able to get out of here earlier.
Also, in re. to your first post, you specify final resting place for parked cars & getting into a parking lot. On the attached Google map, there appears to be a parking lot adjacent to the docks. Are these one in the same?

Yes.
It doesn't need to be marine grade - regular TP is fine

I picked up trash bags (13 gallon), 3 rolls of paper towels and "Green Works cleaner", which I've never used before, but is an all purpose natural biodegradeable cleaner made by Clorox

I can bring paper towels. I don't think we will be bringing any pots or pans cause we will not need them for out dinner. I will bring a spatula though for serving.
Also, if someone needs a ride from Mission Viejo to Long Beach, let me know. I will probably leave pretty early to avoid 5:00 traffic.

From our Organizational Meeting:
Friday dinner, Emma and Billy
Saturday Dinner, Kevin and John
3 Lunches, Sean
3 Breakfasts, including coffee, Adrienne

I mentioned the kind of water to buy at the grocery store, the one gallon screw top Crystal Geiser type, but I don't think anyone agreed to pick it up.

Let's do this: Each of you bring one of those one gallon screw tops - that's give us 7 and should be adequate.

Our boat is located in the Rainbow Marina at Shoreline Village in Long beach, and we meet at:

Pacific Sailing

http://pacificsailing.net/index.html

Parking is by permit on the street.

Arrival/departure times:

Marc Hughston's Crew
Boat: Black Pearl. A Hunter 33
Arrive for packing and prep: 1800 (6:00 PM)
Departure: 2100 (9:00 PM)

Follow MapQuest directions to get you into Shoreline Village at the address above for Pacific Sailing, and take a ticket at the gate to get you in to the parking lot. Come and see me at the boat for the latest details, then offload your gear and bring it and bring it on down. We will quickly get your gear onto the boat, and then you will get a parking permit to move your car to its resting place for the weekend. Then we organize, fill water tanks, get oriented to the vessel, and go. If you all arrive on time, we may be able to get dinner at one of the nearby restaurants prior to departure.
