Grades for the course were:
5-A, 9-B, 3-D, 1-F
Some were Credit/NoCredit.
The only way to get a D or F was not show up for the final.
Anyone who got a higher grade on the final than they had going previously got the higher grade.
Easiest way to figure your percentage is take the number wrong out of 100. Otherwise it would be times 2 from 200.
Anyone who wants their final back can pick it up at Aventura this weekend. |

Grades for 2nd Midterm:
Last night we calculated 74 for total points, but I now note I have 6 extra points [in my computer] which you get as a bonus. [total 80]
-12 <= A
-20 <= B
-32 <= C
Out of the class, only 5 are C/NC grading; Steve Sawyer is not one of them. |

San Clemente Island's Northwest Harbor as a trip destination:
So far, the north end of SCI will be under exclusive military use on Feb 14, according to the schedule posted on the web. That would mean we're not going there, unless the military schedule changes.

As mentioned in class last week, I will have a supply of the Colgate books on Monday night for any one who wants them. They are about $18 for the pair or exactly $20 including tax.
As shown in the outline, we should have gone over the terminology and concepts of the first few pages in the syllabus. Be sure to read over those pages and note any terms or concepts you are not familiar with. On Monday we will need to go very rapidly through those and get on to information in preparation for the cruise. |
