Since many vessels don't have an accurate inventory diagram, one of the things I do is download a copy of the vessel layout from the manufacturer's web site to create one on the fly as we do our checkout. I create two copies, one for safety items and through hulls that I post, and one for all other items that goes in the log book.

application/msword
Rhapsody.doc (84.0 k)

Hi Brian, yes the documents are from past cruises and would need to include information specific to the cruise in question.

Thanks Ted---couple of these attachments will be helpful to me --the watch schedule format, duty assignment, and the abandon ship checklist--good items--and we were planning to post these on Sealark.
NOte--assume your orientation script is a sample-from prior trip-- we are not authorized to stay on the boats Friday night at the sea scout base--so do not invite the crew to stay overnight on the boat.
